Claudia Zaugg

Program Associate

Claudia Zaugg is the Program Associate for the Best Babies Zone (BBZ) Initiative. She brings a wide range of experiences with her to BBZ which include teaching nutrition and active living to children in Ecuador, developing a web-based sexual health education program for California youth, evaluating a STD partner-treatment program, and writing and managing grants for a large community health center in the Bay Area.  Through these experiences, Claudia has developed a passion for addressing health and social inequities through upstream, community-driven approaches. Claudia has a Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health’s Maternal and Child Health Program and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pomona College in Claremont, California.
