Becky Reno, MA, MSW, PhD

Post-Doctoral Fellow

Becky Reno, MA, MSW, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center of Excellence in Maternal Child Health at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Her research agenda includes uncovering and addressing social and structural determinants of health contributing to disparities in birth outcomes. Reno has clinical experience working with low-income pregnant women, and extensive, interdisciplinary research experience related to understanding and addressing health outcomes as a consequence of racial oppression and social injustice. She is excited to join the BBZ team and learn more about the innovative work being done across the zones. She received her MSW and PhD in social work from The Ohio State University.
